  • (Ontario) THOROLD WIRELESS PILOT PROJECT     SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDED!
    • The City of Thorold council decided during an in-camera meeting last week to pull the plug on a one-year pilot project with ReliaClear Canada Inc. to provide free wireless broadband Internet service to the neighbourhood.
  • (Ontario) SIMCOE CELL TOWER
    • Attempts to have a cell phone transmitter removed from atop a water tower, after one resident in the neighbourhood becomes electrohypersensitive and other residents become ill. This has not yet been resolved.
  • (Ontario) RICHMOND HILL CELL TOWER
    • In Richmond Hill, residents are fighting a proposal to build a Rogers tower near Bathurst St. and Elgin Mills Rd. W. – across the road from an already approved Bell tower.
